India to host ‘historic’ international match tomorrow

New Delhi, March 19: A historic international match to be played tomorrow will be played in the city, the Centre announced.

The match between India and Bangladesh will be held in Kolkata, the organisers of the event told PTI.

A day after the death of Rajesh Kumar Singh, a member of the Karnataka Cabinet, the Indian cricket board has also decided to invite representatives from the Bangladeshi team.

The announcement comes on the eve of the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup Qualifier.

The final match of the first edition of the ICC World Cup will be between India against Pakistan on May 25 in Nagpur.
