Luis Suarez said Liverpool are the best football team in Europe, but when asked what he thought about the Spanish side playing Barcelona in the Champions League on Sunday, the Liverpool captain said it was “a joke”.

Liverpool won the Premier League in 2014-15, but they missed out on the Champions and Europa League after finishing fifth in 2016-17.
Suarez said he was happy for his team-mates, and not his coach, Jurgen Klopp, who is in charge at the Catalan club.
