Apple Watch sales hit a new record of more than 6 million units in the United States during the first six months of the year, according to a new report from comScore.
The company’s first watch to make that much noise in its short existence, the Apple Watch Sport, sold 2.3 million units during the same period last year, making it the most popular Apple Watch model in history.
The Apple Watch will launch in stores in the US on November 30, 2017.

Apple was the top-selling brand with 4.2 billion watches sold, followed by Samsung with 3.1 billion, LG with 2.9 billion, Sony with 2 billion, and Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.

Apple’s Watch is the only wearable device that sold more than 3 million units worldwide.

Apple has been selling more Apple Watches than any other brand in history, and is now the fourth-largest brand in terms of worldwide sales.
It sold an estimated 9.5 million Apple Watts in the second half of 2016, according, comScore, and the company expects to sell an estimated 14.6 million watches in 2017.
