Liverpool vs. Arsenal: ‘There’s no reason why you couldn’t do it again’

The Liverpool vs Arsenal match in the Champions League was played in style, as the Reds defeated Arsenal 2-1.

It was an emphatic victory for the English side, who were able to maintain their top-three position for the second successive season and extend their unbeaten run to eight matches.

Liverpool beat Arsenal 3-0 in the last round of the Champions Leagues in May, a match that helped seal their spot in next season’s Europa League, the most prestigious European tournament.

“We’ve been up there and we’ve played so well, so we have a lot of pride,” said captain Daniel Sturridge.

“The pressure is on.

We know we can do it.

We’ve had a lot to learn from Arsenal, but we’ve been doing it well and now we want to take it to them.”
